What We Repair

RELIABLE REPAIRS FOR every MANUFACTURER

At General Engineering, we rebuild dashers and mutator shafts to OEM specifications, restoring performance and significantly extending the service life of your equipment. Our combination of precision craftsmanship, industry expertise, and competitive pricing delivers exceptional value without compromising quality.

Many shaft failures begin with warning signs that can be identified during routine preventive maintenance inspections. Loose blades, excessive vibration, irregular rotation, and worn drive splines are all indicators that a rebuild may be necessary. Our team manufactures new drive ends to match the original equipment design, ensuring proper fit, function, and reliability. We have successfully repaired and rebuilt shafts of all sizes and spline configurations for virtually every major make and model of scraped surface heat exchanger.

We also rebuild worn beaters and in-whippers, replacing worn dairy metal components and Delrin bushings to restore optimal performance and extend equipment life.
